For a lot of people, the autoresponder thing is a misnomer or something that is alien to them. Just so, we can have a good view of it, allow me to clearly define what an autoresponder is. An autoresponder is a simple program that immediately prompts an answer to every e-mail that is received and sent. These are often used as e-mail marketing tools to immediately provide information to their prospective customers and then come up with a follow-up within a preset time intervals. So, how do you get started with an autoresponder? Please refer to the tips provided below:
• Come up with an interesting and informative message that is going to be preloaded with your autoresponder. Make sure that relevance of the autoresponder message is at a high priority as this will put some air of credibility on your product.
• Make sure, too, that you pre load your autoresponder with a message all thorugh out the year. It may be frightening to realize where to get all these, but getting a bit of a help with some sites can alleviate your fear.
• Do not forget to put your electronic signature or a file at the bottom of every e-mail material or article on the autoresponder. Make sure that it should contain uniform resource locator of the business entity you are promoting and a brief description of the business will not harm it.
Finally, if you are on a tight budget, there are some autoresponders that are of free of charge. But if you are on a good budget, getting a paid autoresponder can give you more benefits

When you use an autoresponder service, you must make sure that the domain that the autoresponder uses isn’t blacklisted by the spam watch groups. If it is, your messages probably won’t make it past the majority of spam filters, no matter how much you check it with spam checkers.
Also, not having the ability to track responses can cost you business. If you can’t track response rates, you won’t have any way of knowing whether your messages are doing you any good. A good autoresponder will provide the ability to track responses. If yours doesn’t, you might want to shop for a new autoresponder.
The ability to add and remove names to your autoresponder manually is vital. Often, people will contact you without going through your autoresponder. These people need to be put on the autoresponders mailing list. If you are moving your list from one service to another, you need the ability to import names and addresses to your list. I love my autoresponder! I could not do what I do online without my autoresponder. No way, nada, not possible.
So why do I like my autoresponder so much?
My autoresponder gives me the freedom to take a day off and log back in the next morning and see that several people have bought from me on my day off and deposited money into my bank account. I like that.
My autoresponder gives me the opportunity to develop a relationship with my subscribers.
You see, I think that some people think that having a list and an autoresponder is all about sending out sales emails every week. You would think that when you look at my inbox every day. I get the same email from like 10 different affiliates. Hmmm…do they realize what is happening? Mad rush to be the first to plant a cookie on my computer.
I send my subscribers content, and information, and free stuff, and ask questions, and answer them, and communicate with them - and of course, I send them recommendations of things I really think they can use, not just the things with high commissions attached to them.
